On our ride around Iceland we will experience and see glacier lagoon, most powerfull waterfall in Europe, lakes, highland roads, driving through forests, eat shark ……. 

         

Day 1:
From Reykjavik we head to the south coast to Seljaland- and Skogarfoss-waterfalls. Driving on road along two glaciers and then to our accommodation located beneath the largest Glacier in Europe, Vatnajokull-glacier.

Day 2:
After breakfast we drive to the Jokulsarlon (glacier lagoon) for boat tour and lunch.  Riding along Vatnajokull to east fjord of Iceland with its magnificent mountains and valleys to village Djupivogur.

Day 3:
From Djupivogur we head north east on our first time on gravel road through on of Iceland biggest forest to village Egilstadir for refuelling and lunch stop.  After lunch we drive to village Vopnafjordur on vinding mountain road and then to Bakkafjord-East to our accommodation.

Day 4:
Heading to Asbyrgi one of nature’s wonders. It is a 3½ km long canyon with up to 100 m high cliff walls.  It was created by two catastrophic flood waves from the icecap Vatnajokull.  From Asbyrgi we ride to most powerful waterfall in Europe, Dettifoss.  Arival afternoon at lake Myvatn. The lake's surroundings show such variety in landscapes and amazing geological formations

Day 5:
Heading to capital town of north, Akureyri, we ride around Myvatn-lake and an old highland road.  Lunch stop at Akureyri and then on road Nr. 1 through Langidalur-valley and late afternoon at village Blonduos.

Day 6:
After breakfast we´ll head west to Snaefellsnes-glacier.  Driving on road and mountain road with stop at shark farm, Bjarnarhorn where we´ll have taste of shark meat.   Arrival late afternoon at our accommodation.

Day 7:
To Reykjavik we will drive along the volcanic mountains of Snafellssnes peninsular for lunch stop at the Settlement Center.  Before arriveing in Reykjavik we will ride around Whalefjord. Dinner down town Reykjavik.
